A Chic Manhattan Haven

This effortlessly chic and comfortable home in Manhattan is entirely the work of home-owner Ali Cayne, the restaurateur behind Haven's Kitchen, a restaurant, event space, and cooking school specializing in seasonal, sustainable food, in New York City. She trusted her own style instincts when selecting the colours, furnishings, and artwork for every room. Wanting more balance in her family and work lives, and seeking to lower her carbon footprint, Cayne decided to combine her home and office spaces in a move to the West Village. She didn't want to miss out on anything going on with her five children, or her work. As you can see, she has created a beautiful home for her family, with elegant, light-filled rooms. She even grows her own vegetables and sunflowers in her family's rooftop garden. I'm sure this family spends many an enjoyable moment together in this lovely home.
